Start: 2013
Location: Avon Lake, OH

Located on a very large, 3-acre site located along the Lake Erie waterfront, the contemporary facade of this home was a direct result of an afternoon drive past Lakefront Home 26000 (link this to other page). After witnessing the unprecedented design features of this home that they had not experienced in Northeast Ohio, the clients met with Schill Architecture to initiate the design process. The professional couple has an extremely active work life, and desired a relaxing home environment to retreat to each evening. As a result, the interior spaces are organized in a linear arrangement to take advantage of the sprawling lot and tranquil views of the lake. Like many Schill Architecture homes, there is no “front” to this house; all major spaces face Lake Erie, with auxiliary spaces fronting the street. The project is expected to break ground in Spring 2015.
