Located just west of Cleveland on the shores of Lake Erie, one of our newest designs is slated to begin construction later this summer. The traditional appearance of this stunning lakefront residence was influenced by our clients’ desire to have a home that harkens back to yesteryears. Through the use of gambrel roofs, shake siding and nautical exterior elements, we are bringing some New England style to the North Coast!

One of our favorite design features of this home is the inviting arrival porch that spans across the entire front of the home to beckon guests inside. A tall turret filled with glass adds to the New England grandeur of the home while providing our clients with panoramic Lake Erie vistas.

At Schill Architecture, our design philosophy for lakefront homes is that there are two front elevations; the side facing the street and the side facing the lake. It’s equally important to us that the back of the residence is just as well-thought out and stately when being viewed from the water. Through the use of symmetry and an extensive amount of outdoor living space, we maintain the traditional character of the front of the home while still incorporating large amounts of glass for those beautiful water views. We are so excited to see this beauty come to life in the coming months!
