On April 1st, 2018, Schill Architecture will celebrate 27 years in business. Shortly after Stephanie’s birth in 1990, I had a dream to start my own architecture practice so I could be in total control of both my family’s future and my professional aspirations. I planned, strategized and saved pennies for almost a year before I felt fully prepared to open my business. On April 1, 1991, Schill Architecture was “born.” I had some tough years ahead of me filled with very long evenings and some very trying times. A few years later, Robert came into our world and I had no choice but to continue building my business so Schill Architecture could reach the full potential of what I knew it could be. Fast forward 27 years – all of the afternoons Stephanie spent “drawing” with me at the office as a toddler paid off and she is now a registered Architect working with me! My wife Nancy manages our business operations and Robert has begun a successful finance career in Manhattan. The rest is history!
