A Vermilion home designed by Schill Architecture was recently featured in an article in Lake Erie Living Magazine. Our clients enlisted our help to design a sophisticated but welcoming home for their expansive waterfront site with over 235′ of beach. Schill Architecture opted to create a 1-story home with a walk-out lower level in order to take advantage of the sprawling property, maximize water views in all rooms and utilize the natural slope of the site. This residence, which has approximately 9,000 square feet of living space, keeps things casual with it’s open floor plan, lofty ceilings and series of spaces designed for entertaining family and friends. One of our favorite features of the home is the multi-level outdoor living space complete with glass railing. Due to it’s height above the ground and close proximity to the water, you feel like you’re drifting into the waves of Lake Erie. Hearing that our clients love their home and are using the spaces exactly how we envisioned is the most rewarding part of our job. We can’t wait to show you some of our newest lakefront designs we’re working on!
