It’s that time of year again when many of our projects begin winding down after a busy year or two of construction. There’s no better feeling than watching the finishing touches go onto the houses we’ve carefully planned, designed and coordinated with clients and their contractors. One of our favorite infill projects nearing completion is a sprawling French country farmhouse home perched above the Lake Erie shoreline. By incorporating timeless architectural details such as copper roofs, warm stone veneers, crisp white shake siding, cedar accents and even copper gutters and downspouts, this new home blends seamlessly into the mature neighborhood. After all, it’s the small details that make the biggest impact in setting homes designed by Schill Architecture apart from other new construction. Although some of our homes are coming to a close, we are excited for the next round of projects to break ground before the years’ end- we’ve been busy around here!
