Wow, another milestone, and this one is a big one! Right before our daughter was about to turn 1, an alarm went off inside of me. I thought that to position my family for success, I would have to be solely in charge of my future. Looking back, the odds weren’t promising. I had ZERO business experience or education, 600 bucks in savings, and NO clients, but at the ripe old age of 29, I launched Schill Architecture anyway on this day in 1991. I come from humble beginnings, but my dad gave me something more valuable than money, he instilled his work ethic in me. So that, along with the unconditional support of my wife, got me through many long, lonely nights at the office at the start of this journey. The first few years were a struggle and I was scared, but the birth of our son strengthened my resolve to fulfill my goals. As time went on, I found that old adage to be true. The harder I worked, the luckier I got. We have had an amazing first 30 years in business and I can’t wait to see where the next 30 will take us! #schillstyle
