Winter is rapidly making it’s debut in Cleveland! As the days get shorter and the air gets colder, relaxing at home seems to be on everybody’s agenda. At Schill Architecture, we pride ourselves on designing warm, inviting spaces that help our clients relax in style. One of our favorite rustic retreats is located on a sprawling 55-acre property perched high above a ravine that is surrounded by a dense forest. The natural materials on the exterior of the home, combined with the amazing vistas offered from the interior, make you feel like you are floating in the treetops!
Warm wood tones, lofty ceilings and some eclectic animal accessories contribute to the “lodge” feel of the home. Large picture windows are located in all of the primary living spaces to balance the heavy stone and timber materials and open the home to the beautiful natural setting of the property. While sitting at the dining room table, guests feel like they’re dining in a treehouse rather than a conventional home!
One aspect that sets Schill Architecture apart from other firms and builders in the area is the level of detail that goes into each and every home we create. Our design and construction process takes time, but when all is said and done we know that each home is perfectly tailored to our client’s lifestyle…which sometimes includes indoor motorcycle collections!
