One of Schill Architecture’s most exciting projects currently under construction is a sprawling contemporary lakefront home in Avon Lake, Ohio. While the views of Lake Erie from the site are certainly breathtaking, we can’t seem to take our eyes off of the Longboard siding being installed on the home! Longboard is an aluminum siding and soffit product that mimics that natural beauty of wood without the maintenance. We knew Longboard was the superior product choice for this home because of it’s ability to add warmth and texture to contrast the cool gray brick while simultaneously providing superior resistance to weathering, which is a major issue along the north coast. We are excited to share the final installation images with you and continue to watch the construction of this home progress.
