As we say goodbye to winter and hello to spring in Cleveland, the Schill Architecture team is also saying hello to one of the busiest times of year in our office! We’ve been working hard to complete final permit sets for our clients so construction can commence this spring. One of our latest waterfront projects is located on a prime harborside site in Catawba with easy access to Lake Erie and the beautiful islands that the North Shore has to offer. Our clients desired a transitional nautical look for the home’s exterior that also complied with the white and gray color palette required by the HOA. We accomplished this aeshetic by givng traditional coastal architectural elements some unexpected modifications, such as omitting window grids and swapping siding for stucco. The Schill Architecture team is looking forward to many trips up to the North Shore this summer to monitor construction progress on these beautiful summer homes and equally beautiful properties!
