It’s officially March which means the start of spring is just around the corner. The Schill Architecture team is already fast-forwarding to thoughts of warm summer days spent on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie! We’ve designed a number of vacation homes in Catawba and Marblehead that make it easy for people to sit back, relax and and enjoy everything the waterfront has to offer. This Catawba Island Club vacation home is one of our favorites! By contrasting rustic elements with clean, nautical features, the home achieves a timeless look that blends seamlessly into the mature neighborhood. Schill Architecture specified quality exterior materials that are low-maintenance and can outlast the unpredictable weather on the Lake Erie coast. Because the weather can change very quickly on the water, we always make sure to incorporate expansive outdoor living areas in our designs with both covered and non-covered areas to ensure that our client’s can enjoy the outdoors in the rain or shine. It’s hard not to get excited about warmer days when you have opportunities to design summer retreats like this!
