At Schill Architecture, we pride ourselves on designing some of the most intricate and innovative homes in Northeast Ohio. Situated in Olmsted Falls, this charming cottage-inspired home had spectacular views of the Rocky River from it’s interior. Several years after construction was completed, however, the owners called Schill Architecture to design an outdoor space that would allow them to be even closer to the water. Why be close to the water when you can be on top of the water? This retreat is cantilevered over a cliff on the property that allows the family and their guests to feel as if they are in a treehouse suspended above the rushing river. With a little imagination and some strong structural support, you can get the outdoor entertaining space of your dreams that is perfect for hosting friends and family on warm summer days and cool fall nights alike!
